In Van Gogh class we have been scientists! We have been looking for different materials around the classroom and sorting them into a giant table on the floor!

On art day we looked at maps. We drew maps of peel park and showed them off to our friends. Then we recreated our favourite section of the map with polystyrene. Finally we made our own prints of our parks.
In maths we have been adding three numbers together by making up our own number stories.
We have been playing out in the rain!!
On Tuesday 5th December we presented our street dance performance. We have been practicing our dancing all term in PE.
In Design and Technology we have been designing, making and evaluation some chairs. We made chairs for baby bear. We had to make a chair that was strong and stiff enough to hold the weight of the baby bear. Take a look at what we have done.
To celebrate Christmas we welcomed our friends and families into school to help is with some Christmas crafts. We made snowmen, wreaths and pictures with pom poms!
My Happy Mind
This half term we have been looking at appreciation in our My Happy Mind lessons. We have been learning about gratitude and working hard on having an attitude of gratitude. This is us playing with the My Happy Mind characters.
Play Bradford Outdoor Activity
We have been lucky enough to spend the morning playing outside! We played with scooters and stilts, jumped off of big blocks, played archery and even made pizza's!
Science
In Science we went on an adventure into the wildlife area. We went hunting for micro-habitats and found lots of living things.
Theme Day
We had a visitor that came in and drew a map of our school. He talked about map skills and then we went hunting for treasure using the maps. Next, our visitor talked to us about the Arctic and how he has been there, we learned all about the environment and how we could survive there.
