Children In Need
We came to nursery dressed in our Pudsey Bear clothes, pyjamas and spotty clothing in support of Children In Need. We had lots of fun looking for Pudsey Bear who was hiding in our nursery. We made a Pudsey Bear mask to take home and we also did some colouring sheets and played with the spotty playdough. It was a fun day.
We made our own sandwiches for snack time. We spread the butter onto the bread and then we picked which filling we wanted in our sandwich. We ate our sandwiches for snack time and they tasted delicious!
We enjoyed taking part in lots of bonfire activities. We made firework pictures and a chocolate apple which looked very yummy! We learnt how to keep safe around bonfires and when holding a sparkler. We enjoyed watching a sparkler outside and having a delicious drink of hot chocolate with our snack. It was such a fun day.
Fire engine paintings
We have been learning about fire engines and fire men and ladies. We talked about what the fire engine looks like and the noise it makes. We then went on to paint a fire engine picture.
We have enjoyed taking part in different Halloween activities. We made spiders with the playdough, pumpkin faces and Halloween bat hats.
Green pasta play!
We explored the pasta using our hands and then we had lots of fun cutting the pasta up into small pieces using scissors.
We enjoyed taking part in lots of activities for Harvest Day. We did pumpkin sticking's, we made a leaf wreath and we played in the playdough. We also got our hands messy scooping out the pumpkins.
We all had a fun morning and afternoon.
We have enjoyed taking part in autumn activities this week in nursery.
Having fun in the cornflour!
We used our hands and spoons to explore in the cornflour. We talked about what happened when we picked it up and what it felt like.
Our hands got very messy!
We used a mirror to look at our features and then we painted a picture of what we look like.
This was lots of fun!
