Parent / Carer BSL Class

BSL classes 2021-22

We have two family sign classes at school every Tuesday morning from 09.30 am to 11.30am for level 2 BSL and every Wednesday morning from 09.30am-11.30 am for parents and carers of our RP pupils to learn some basic BSL skills. The course involves learning everyday signs and how to communicate with your child at home. We teach you about BSL order, basic linguistics, signing vocabulary, storytelling skills and how to use facial expressions to show emotion. We also cover homework topics and we show the resources that are available online, such as BSL video clips or websites that can be accessed at home.
