Class Gallery 2026-2027

History-Autumn 1- Why was the opening of Peel Park historic?
 

We were introduced to a boy, named William, who told us all about his exciting trip to Peel Park in 1853 when the park had just opened. We worked in groups to share what we though Peel Park would look like in 1853 and made a map to represent our ideas. We shared our ideas with the class. At the end of the lesson, we found out what the park was actually like in 1853 and compared it to what it is like now.

Lowry Class have really enjoyed learning about their class namesake since arriving back at school. We have written fact files about Lowry's life and created our own artwork in his style.
