Class Photo Gallery 2025 - 2026

Take a look at our learning during Autumn term.
As part of our first week in Kandinsky class, we learned all about our class name. We found out that Wassily Kandinsky was an artist. We looked at some of his artwork and created our very own.

In English we have been taking part in Drawing Club and reading lots of stories. We have used our imagination to extend stories and also change characters. Here are a few we have enjoyed:

  • What's in the witch's kitchen
  • The three little pigs
  • The Gingerbread man
  • Popeye the sailorman
  • Pink Panther
In Science, we have been learning all about the different seasons. We looked at how the seasons change throughout the year and how the temperature may vary. We looked at our birthdays to work out which season we were born in.

In Maths we have been learning all about numbers 0 to 10. We have looked at the value of numbers, comparing numbers using more and less and started to introduce part whole models. We used a 'Laulau' lesson to help us learn all about 2D shapes. We have used lots of practical lessons to enhance our learning further.

In Geography, we had a whole school topic called 'Proud to be from Bradford'. During this topic, we took a step back in time and looked at how shops have changed in Bradford. We learnt that supermarkets did not exist in the early 1900's. Using our maps skills, we planned our very own trip to Morrisons. Morrisons is a unique supermarket as they still have their very own bakery, fish mongers, butchers and a dairy aisle.
As part of our 'Proud to be from Bradford' topic, we were set some homework to create our favourite place we like to visit in Bradford. Can you spot any familiar places?
