Remembrance Day
The nursery children have taken part in a Remembrance Day activity. They have made Poppy wreaths.
Firework pictures
This half term our theme is called "Celebrating us and Our World".
We have celebrated Bonfire Night in nursery by learning how to keep safe around bonfires and fireworks. We also took part in different creative activities where we made lots of firework pictures. This was lots of fun!
Making Sandwiches for Snack Time!
We enjoyed making our own sandwiches for snack time. We spread the butter onto the bread  and then we decided what we wanted in our sandwich. Some of us picked jam and others picked cheese. We ate our sandwiches at snack time and they were very yummy!
Sponge printing activity
We used sponge dabbers to create our pictures. We also recognised some of the colours we used.
Self-portraits!
This half term our theme is called "All About Me". We have been learning about where we live, who is in our family and what we look like. We took part in creative activity where we looked in a mirror and spoke about our features. We then used different collage materials to create a self portrait. We really enjoyed this activity!
Our first week back after the Summer holidays
Everyone was excited to return back to Nursery after the 6-week holidays. All the children were all excited to see their friends again and they have a great time playing and exploring together. We also welcomed new children who have quickly settled in and are already making new friends.
